Ballad Nameless Love Song


Matabe Ijiri is the tough general of the small region known as Kasuga in Sengoku-era Japan. His nickname is "Ijiri," which means literally ghost and he strikes fear in many people. Matabe is in love with with the Princess Renheme, who also shares feelings for Matabe, but because of their class differences never acts upon their feelings. One day, Matabe is engaged in a battle, but loses concentration. He is about to be killed when a mysterious young boy named Shinichi Kawakami appears out of nowhere and ends up saving Matabe's life. Matabe is then ordered by Princess Renheme to take care of the young boy and eventually a friendship grows between Matabe and Shinichi.

Winter Sakura


Inaba Hiroshi, a glass craftsman in snow-covered Yamagata prefecture who has devoted himself to caring for his mother, has never fallen in love before. Ishikawa Monami has travelled alone to Yamagata prefecture. She has journeyed to see the “sakuras that bloom in winter”. Hiroshi passes Monami as she walks down the street, and is captivated by her beauty. Right after that, her handbag is snatched and Hiroshi helps an injured Monami. Monami, who has suddenly lost her memory because of the shock of the incident, begins living at Hiroshi’s home. Monami is in a daze of fear and terror as she cannot be identified and does not know who she is. The only clue is a photograph of a sakura branch which was taken with the digital camera she has. It is the keiousakura, a flower which blooms in winter. A man who has only looked after his mother, and a woman who does not even know who she is … … these two predestined people have encountered each other in a quiet, white snow-covered world. Hiroshi’s mother passes away a while later, and his younger brother, Hajime, a houseman at a Tokyo hospital, returns for the funeral service. Sensing his older brother’s faint liking for Monami, Hajime tells Monami about Hiroshi’s sincere care for his mother and him. Detective Rio Segawa (Nao Matsushita) works at the Oimachi Police Precinct. She chases a criminal for an entire month. Rio finally finds the criminal and goes in hot pursuit, but, during her pursuit, Detective Rio falls down from a gunshot by the criminal. 2 months later, as soon as Detective Rio comes back to the police force, she is ordered to transfer to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Violent Crimes Division. When Detective Rio arrives at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Violent Crimes Division, news of a random street attack arrives.
